Bring some colour into your life

Dull greys, Matt blacks and Glossy beiges and whites are passé. They are everywhere. Out interiors are a reflection of our lives, who we are and our personalities. However, since the cost of good quality raw materials is quite exorbitant, people do not experiment much with looks and tend to stick to basic neutral colours, resulting in kitchens and rooms that not only look the same but seem to lack a vibe, the throb of life. Designed to be understated, neutral, long-lasting. We plan for years to come, forgetting that all we’ve got is “now”. So why not live it up! Add some colour to your life.

A Rainbow in your kitchen

Bring the rainbow indoors by adorning solid colour laminates on your cabinets. It’s not only refreshing and cheerful but working in a space that makes you happy takes the hard work out of chores. Imagine waking up and walking in to make your first cup of tea or coffee in a room vibrating with colour. As opposed to a dark space that makes you want to grab your cup and rush out and look for the light. Colours of the sea in your bathroom.

Instatiles

have revolutionised the concept of bathroom tiles. They are easy to install and you can get as creative as you like. Experiment with shades of blue, sea green and turquoise, add a touch of silver and create the bathroom of your dreams. Take your daily grooming routines to the next level. Maybe even create your own spa with shades of red, orange and rust or serene greens.

Vibrant hues in playrooms for the young and old

Colour can make or break a space. Bright colours in children’s play areas not only make them attractive and inviting but keep children comfortable hence involved and busier for longer. And the same applies to workspaces or offices where grown-ups go every day to work. Therefore it’s not surprising that more and more commercial spaces are being designed using bright colours and large windows to let light in. Small dark spaces often lead to damp and mould. In warmer climates, they tend to get claustrophobic. In either case, uncomfortable working spaces lead to low output and unhappy workers.

Dynamic gyms

Often bordering on the verge of grey or black, the variety of laminates available in the market today means gyms can get brighter and cooler and funkier. Bright yellow or deep red maintains the tough look but make a statement. Dance floors can be more vibrant, trendy while yoga studios can use colours related to our chakras. There is no limit to options just as long as you don’t run out of ideas.

Sensual bedrooms

A bright colour wall in an otherwise white or cream bedroom makes a statement. It helps coordinate linen and accessories. You could opt for cool colours like teal or lime green or darker shades that make your spaces more sensual - more about you. Colours enhance our personalities, they invigorate our senses, create memories and they are an ideal way to express ourselves.
